In chapter 14 marc pransky gives us a website that’s www.mediafamily.org I went to check what they have and they are talking about how video games are turning our kids into violet people and how TV is influencing some of them and they also have a link in that website that is call TIPS they are telling the parents what are the steps they need to follow to stop videos games controlling their kinds mind one of them is: When a child watches a TV program or a movie, they are in the role of observer. When they play a video or computer game, they are participants. In this website they are trying to tell the parents that their kids should stop playing video games because they might turn into a criminal. Also in the book Marc Pransky is giving us an example of how a kid is talking about the game “grand theft auto” the kid is explaining how he is killing a lot people and the way that he is doing it, it sounds really bad but Marc Prensky is saying that if a kid talks about video games that way, the parent should start talking more with the kid and ask question, like what do you feel when you are killing people in the video game? This will help the kid to express their emotions in a different way.
